Joining the Birkenhead Bowling Club

You can be a member and enjoy the challenges of playing the game and enjoy the social side or you can be a social member only.

Full Playing Members

Full playing members are either:

FIRST YEAR or LEARNERS who have never played before and want to learn.
EXPERIENCED PLAYERS who have previously played at this or another club.

Each is entitled to all the privileges of membership of the club.

Social Members

Social members may take part in all the "Social" amenities only - that is all the activities in the clubhouse. They are not permitted to play bowls unless they intend becoming a "Full Playing Member".

What Does It Cost?

The subscription year runs from 1st September to the following 31 August.

Fees for the 2009/2010 season are:

Full member		$150.00 ($120.00 if paid by 1 Sept 09)
- 80 years old and 10 years membership		$80.00 ($60.00 if paid by 1 Sept 09)
- Associate member		$45.00
- Social member (all)		$30.00
- Honorary member		Nil
- First year and student bowlers		Nil

Current Members

You can now pay your fees directly into the Birkenhead Bowling Club bank account.

How To Join

Call into the club and we will go through the process with you.

With the help of two "Full Members" of the club, complete the application form. The application is then processed by the Secretary who, after the Executive Committee has considered it, will advise of the procedure to follow.

Membership Form
